Bernie Guenther is a versatile play-by-play broadcaster with the ability to cover a wide range of sports as well as Director of New Media at USSSA. Bernie has announced SEC and ACC men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, University of Florida football, SEC Championships in soccer, softball, volleyball, gymnastics, track and field, and swimming and diving.You may have also seen Bernie on ESPN or heard him on Fox Sports. He is the voice of the USSSA Pride and works with the National Pro Fastpitch league to promote the sport of Fastpitch softball.
As part of his role with USSSA, his leadership of the New Media department means that he oversees the broadcast of games online and on television as well as the online publication of USSSA Today.
Paul T. O’Leary was born and Educated in the United Kingdom, now a dual citizen of both the United Kingdom and the United States, Paul brings an international feel to the USSSA New Media team. He works on USSSA’s web presence and is the creator of USSSAToday.com. He is also the designer of the USSSAPride.com site, USSSASoccer.com, ConferenceUSSSA.com and others. In addition to his web design work for USSSA, he works closely with the Broadcast team to aid in the production of the live broadcasts of games for numerous sports during the summer months. Outside of USSSA he is a business consultant with particuar focus in the real estate, marketing and technology sectors and has clients across the country and around the world.
Matthew is originally from the Baltimore, MD area and graduated from Mount St. Joseph High School. On moving to Florida in 2006 he attended Valencia Community College and
has been around USSSA and a ballfield his entire life. For the 2011 season onwards he has served as the Sports Information Director for the USSSA Pride.
Matthew is a valued member of the New Media team and is always working on a variety of projects and has a varied skill set including embroidery, installing cables, camera work, and in game broadcasting duties.
Kristen is a true Florida native, growing up on sunshine and sports. This graduate of the University of Florida enjoys following and reporting on everything Gators. Her passion for sports broadcasting and go-getting attitude landed her here, with USSSA. She serves as the digital sports and sideline reporter for all things USSSA. Throughout the year follow her various reports on USSSA.com and tune into USSSAlive.com or ESPN3 for inside information from the different USSSA sidelines.
Before joining USSSA, she worked with XOS Digital, one of the country’s leading producer of colligate digital content. She hosted the very first Campus Connection show on ESPNU, was a contributing reporter for Sun Sport’s weekly show “Gator Zone”, and serves as the home volleyball color analyst for Rollins College on the Tar Sports Network.
Stafford is a graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. He has has over 30 years experience in the publishing business and the Softball world. Back in the 80′s he was the owner of ARC Softball Magazine. It was at this time he planned, designed and built the ARC Park, a six field softball complex in Fort Worth, Texas. Up until 2007 he was the owner of Southwest Softball Magazine and from 2008 is the publisher of USSSA Today’s print magazine. Outside of Softball and Publishing he has been a Math Teacher and a Football Coach.
Thanks to his years of experience, Stafford is a valued team member and is excited to see USSSA Today grow both online and in print.
